STEVE ARRINGTON
Steve Arrington joined Dayton, Ohio Funk/Soul band Slave in 1978 and stayed with them until 1981. Steve was vocalist on their hit singles "Just a Touch of Love", "Watching You" and "Wait For Me".
In 1982 his new project Steve Arrington's Hall of Fame was launched. Classic singles "Way Out" and "Weak at the Knees" followed but it was in 1985 that Steve Arrington found worldwide fame with with the "Dancin' in the Key of Life" and "Feels So Real" singles.
Recent years have seen Steve Arrington collaborate with influential producer Dam-Funk on the 2013 album "Higher" on Stones Throw Records. In 2014 Tummy Touch released "Way Out (80-84)" which compiled the highlights from these years on one handy album.
Tonight sees the first Central London concert since 1985 for Steve Arrington. This will sell out. Book early.
DJ Perry Louis will be on the decks tonight. Perry has run a club session in London called "Weak at the Knees" for many years.
