After sell out shows 7 years running, the original and longest running comedy clash returns for its annual comedy extravaganza. We've carefully selected 10 of the worlds most entertaining comedians to grace the stage and represent their country! Who will be the pride of their nation and take the crown?
🔴KAT B (Host)🔴
Kat is a quick and quirky all-round entertainer with enormous appeal! He is well known from his antics on MTV and Choice FM, and has graced stages around the world with his unique brand of comedy and humor. Give him a mic, a stage and an audience and watch him go.
🔴SLIM (Jamaica)🔴
A crowd favourite labelled 'The People's Champion' in the comedy industry. Slim is one of the elites of the comedy circuit with a string of awards and accolades under his belt. Slim by name, Slim by nature, this hilariously funny and talented comedian never fails to bring the roof down with his no nonsense style of comedy.
🔴NICO YEARWOOD (Barbados)🔴
Nico has been setting the London comedy circuit alight with his unique blend of Caribbean flavoured comedy. Whether delivering hilarious stories about growing up in Barbados or his new life in London, his laid back Bajan style and charm wins audiences over immediately and leave them wanting more!
🔴BABATUNDE (Nigeria)🔴
Babatunde won best newcomer at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards (BECA) and Da Comedy Fun House in 2004/05. He’s also an actor, graduating from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. He went on to star in TV shows such as Dr Who and Eastenders. Babatunde takes a new spin on observational comedy, with stories from his childhood to married life and fatherhood.
🔴PETER FRANCIS (St Lucia)🔴
It's a treat to have one of the most in-demand comedians on the circuit perform at The World Comedy Clash stage! With regular gig's in Germany, Sweden, Holland and the USA, Peter Francis is Mr International! He's known for using unique expressions and body language from the offset to captivate his audiences around the globe.
🔴KEITH JOHNSON (USA)🔴
With previous appearances on Comedy Central, The Comedy Store, the criminally funny Keith Johnson flies in from Los Angelos, California and will be gracing the World Comedy clash stage for his first performance in the UK. Johnson has worked all the major clubs in his hometown, and hosted / produced at The Westside Comedy Theatre.
🔴JUNIOR BOOKER (Guyana)🔴
A hilarious, controversial and witty comedian from South London. Booker has been killing the UK comedy scene for 8 years ... and counting!.
🔴JIMMY JAMES JONES (Sierra Leone)🔴
An observational/dark comic who you may have seen on itv2’s ‘pranksters’ and ‘sorry I didn’t know’! Jimmy has opened for Russel Brand, Luisa Omielan, and has had sold out shows in Norway (Oslo and Tonsberg)
🔴LIMZ (Uganda)🔴
Limz Ali has performed at venues across England & Internationally, including The Comedy Store, Comedy Cafe (Won Best Newcomer) 2010, Comedy Cabaret (Won Best Newcomer) 2010, LAUGH Comedy Club (Won Best Newcomer) 2009, Cavendish Arms(Won Comedy Virgins Newcomer Trophy) 2011 and BBC New Comedy Award (Brighton) 2012!
🔴BENJAMIN SARPONG (Ghana)🔴
Known for his expressive comedy style, Benjamin is multi-talented, as well as stand up comedy, he is a sports model and actor starring in many TV shows as well starring in Netflix movie The Weekend.
