Rio de Janeiro is a huge seaside city in Brazil, famed for its Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, 38m Christ the Redeemer statue atop Mount Corcovado and for Sugarloaf Mountain, a granite peak with cable cars to its summit. The city is also known for its sprawling favelas (shanty towns). Its raucous Carnaval festival, featuring parade floats, flamboyant costumes and samba dancers, is considered the world’s largest.

The Rio Scenarium plays music that celebrates the Brazilian people, the place reinforces the process of cultural revitalisation of the Historic Center of Rio. The region where Rio Scenarium is located, called Lapa is famous to be the hub for Rio's night life - many bars and nightclubs are presents around! Frequent news in the main national and international newspapers and magazines, is a highlight in Rio night. Installed in a 19th century building, it has a large collection of furniture and old objects, collected over the years, with more than ten thousand pieces. Today, the place concentrates people of all ages, and is the favourite of the national and international tourist. On any given night, Brazilian sounds like samba, bossa nova, baião or frevo can be heard coming out of doors and windows. The recipe is infallible: good drink, varied snacks, Brazilian food restaurant, allied to live quality music, to listen and dance.
Christ the Redeemer has open arms to welcome and bless you. At the peak of the 700 meter (2,300 ft) Corcovado Mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park, sits the iconic statue, Christ the Redeemer; one of the most desired tourist attractions of Rio de Janeiro. The statue is located at the peak of the 700-metre (2,300 ft) Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park, where anybody can appreciate one of the most beautiful views of the city. It was elected one of the New Seven Wonders of the World made by formal voting in 2007 by the Swiss Institution New 7 Wonders Foundation.
The Colorful Stairway
One of Rio's best loved attractions, the steps between the bohemian neighbourhoods of Lapa and Santa Teresa became a work of art when Chilean-born artist Jorge Selarón decided to cover the steps with colourful mosaics. Within 10 years, the 215 steps connecting the neighbourhoods were covered in more than 2,000 tiles from 60-plus countries. It was featured in Fanta commercials and National Geographic Magazine. U2’s Walk On and Snoop Dogg’s Beautiful were filmed here. In January 2013, Jorge Selaron’s body was found on his steps.
On this day we will take you on a journey of approximately three hours to the coast south of Rio de Janeiro State. The jumping off point to the boat trip, is a city called Angra dos Reis. With more than two thousand beaches, the city has some of the most awe- inspiring scenery on the coast of Rio de Janeiro State. Between the mountains and the beaches, the area is perfect for cruising around. The boat trip lasts 4 hours, the trip will be full of music and stops at the right places to enjoy the crystal clear water!
One of the most beautiful post-cards of Rio de Janeiro offers a gorgeous view of the whole city. From Praia Vermelha ( Red Beach), the visitants take the first cable car links to the Urca hill, and from there, a second takes them until the top of the Sugar loaf hill, it stays 396 meters of the sea level. If you enjoy dancing and want to learn the famous Brazilian dance Samba, this is the tour for you! The experience starts with a professionally led dance class at a Carnival Samba Dance School. Afterwards, you’ll have opportunity of showing off your new found dance skills with the instructors and other guests at a carnival themed party. Carnival in Brazil happens in February or March. This session is a brilliant way of getting your dance steps ready if you are lucky enough to be experiencing it first hand, or a great alternative if you are holidaying in Rio at any other time of the year. During the year the Samba Schools promote parties with lively music and samba dancers, so the atmosphere of carnival continues year round. This is undoubtedly one of Rio’s traditional festivals that is well worth experiencing in your lifetime.
Green space, volleyball/ football court, music, snacks looks an amazing background to the Pool Party! Also, You will still get the chance to learn how to make the famous Brazilian drink: Caipirinha!
A Day on the Beach. In order to end this trip in the true Carioca ( locals) style, we will enjoy the day on the beach! Play soccer, volleyball, grab a caipirinha or açai, take swim, swing your body in the warm South American sun. Food included.
