The Black British Experience – a Black-owned business exhibition, debate forum, creative showcase, and after party all-in-one – will take place on Saturday 20th October 2018, during the height of this year’s Black History Month!

At 6pm sharp, the event kicks off with a bang! Join us for a bustling Black-owned business exhibition, live performances, interactive panel and audience discussion, surprise guest speaker, and after party!
Arrive early to explore and discover a number of Black-owned brands from various industries. This is not just an opportunity to support our community, but also a great opportunity to network. From artists to party planners, you’re sure to make a useful connection with someone! Then, get ready to participate in gripping debates with panellists on topics which have been designed to engage, entertain and most of all, empower.
Special guest panellists include:
Zita Holbourne - Co-Founder and National Chair of Black Activists Rising Against Cuts (BARAC) UK.
Hannah Ajala - BBC Journalist and Co-Founder of the Black British Travel Meet Up.
Jermain Jackman - Chair of Islington Fair Futures and winner of The Voice UK's 2014, making Jermain the first black man to win any talent programme this country has ever had.
Miss Sia - Founder of The Disgusted Campaign set up to bring marginalised groups to the forefront of our media intake and to restructure or perspectives on those groups, and personality on the popular YouTube series, BKChat LDN.
Veepa - Head of Marketing and Advertising at award-winning BAME LGBT+ platform, AZ Magazine.
Duwayne Brooks - Politician, youth crime activist, and friend of the late Stephen Lawrence.

Blaque Nation is a fresh events-based platform existing to unite, support and transform the Black British community.
