P.O.P - Singles Night for 24-35 Year Olds

Welcome to P.O.P, the most balanced singles dating event in town!

It's a Plus One Party - meaning your ticket is for two people!

We're always hearing people say that they don't know where to meet potential partners, or that they are done with speed dating events... That's why we've created P.O.P!

Our 'Plus One Party' is aimed at 24-35 year olds who are unsure where & how to meet new potential dates, want to have a laugh with other like-minded singles, and for those who are ready to meet The One!

We can't promise that you'll find the love of your life but we can promise you'll have a night of great games, great fun and you'll probably win a game of Prosecco Pong or two!

What is 'P.O.P' anyway?

You know when you go to one of these 'singles nights' and you find yourself surrounded by people of the same sex? Well, let's deal with that.

When you come to P.O.P we're getting you to bring along a single friend of the opposite sex. That way we instantly have an equal ratio of men to women! Suddenly that room is way more fun, right?

It's an excuse to spend a night with that great friend from across town that you hardly ever see, while also, maybe, meeting that new special someone. But we aren't just leaving you to it... we've put a little twist on things!

Ease my nerves - What can I expect at this Singles Night?

Doors open at 6.30pm, and you'll be welcomed either by me (Hi, I'm Kim!) or someone from the team. Then we'll get you checked in with a welcome drink and you'll be given either a lock OR a key!

We'll be starting promptly at 7pm. Please please please get here on time, this type of event really only works when everyone is here (otherwise it'll just be a room filled with people you already know, and where's the fun in that??)

The aim of the game is to mingle with as many people as possible until you find the lock that fits your key! Each time you find a matching pair you'll be in with a chance to win one of our great prizes!

As your host, I'll introduce you to the games of the evening, let you know what the best drinks are and tell you the rules of Prosecco Pong (hint: practice your throwing aim!). You'll spend the night playing games and finding someone with a matching lock to your key. It's a great icebreaker and a chance to talk to as many people as you can!

Once you've found a match - you've found The One.

Just kidding! But it does mean you get to be added into our raffle prize draw! Find your way to the registry table and hand over your open lock & key to be entered!

Remember I'll be there with you all night for any questions you might have, to calm your nerves or just to beat you in a game!

We politely ask that when buying tickets you work the event in your schedule, as last-minute cancellations may leave the event with an uneven ratio - we aim to connect as many people as possible, please help us do this!

I'm ready for the Singles Night! What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes everything below for you & your plus one!

- Entry into Sink

- Welcome drinks!

- Beer Pong/Prosecco Pong all night (whichever your heart desires!)

- Snacks, Sweets & Singles!

And lastly, the most important part...

Not only will we be having a fun night with singles, we'll also be bringing back our Secret Singles cards! If you meet someone you like but you're unsure how to approach them for their details, don't worry - we got you!

Write their name down on the Secret Singles card provided and hand it in when you leave. We'll contact them for you and see if they're up for exchanging details! Who said this dating stuff was hard?!

FAQ's

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

As long as you're between 24 - 35, you're good!

ID is necessary so please remember to bring it with you!

What's the dress code?

"Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak."

We're not sure who said this but we love it! Dress as you!

(If you reeeeally need a dress code, we're keeping it smart/casual!)

Can I buy a single person ticket?

Our tickets are only sold to those who are able to come along with a single someone of the opposite sex. This way the event has an equal ratio of men to women, and everyone gets to meet someone new! We currently do not allow single tickets to be sold (sorry!).

How do I get there?

The closest tube station is Old Street Station (3 minute walk), Moorgate Station (10 minute walk) or Liverpool St Station (11 minute walk).

There's single yellow parking in the area but please don't drive if you're getting involved in Prosecco Pong! Drinking and driving is never cool.

What kind of people attend P.O.P?

We're open for all!

The only restriction at P.O.P is that you are 24-35 and single! However, if previous events are any indication, our events generally attract Asian professionals who are based in London who are outgoing, interactive and looking to meet new people!

Can I bring a wing-man or wing-woman with me?

We know how daunting it can be to have to attend these events by yourself which is why we've created this event as a Plus One Party! With that said, if you really do want a wing-person - send an email to kimmi@grandeurandlove.com and we'll see what we can do!

Are attendees all screened?

This event is open for all (as long as you're 24-35 years old!). Attendees are not Grandeur and Love clients, and therefore they have not been processed or screened through Grandeur and Love services.

What's the refund policy?

We don't allow refunds unfortunately but you are able to transfer your ticket to someone else. Please ensure they are of the same sex as the ticket bought - we don't want odd ratios! For transfers please email kimmi@grandeurandlove.com

Is my ticket transferrable?

Yes, please email kimmi@grandeurandlove.com with the name that's on your ticket and the name you would like to transfer it to.

Can I buy tickets on the door?

This really depends on the night. Our aim is to keep the event men to women ratio as even as possible so we may not be able to allow tickets to be sold at the door. We'd say get your ticket early to avoid disappointment, and if you can't make it, you can always transfer it to two other people and let them have a fun night out :)

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, however, they must be on the same sex as the ticket purchased! To keep the ratios even, we cannot accept people attending with the wrong ticket. We're really really trying to get as many new people mingling as possible!
