Lover’s Rock originated in the UK in the late 70’s and continued until the early 90’s. Lovers Rock was created by the descendants of Jamaicans that migrated to the UK, and its heavily influenced by reggae music. Lover’s Rock can be described as soulful vocals over a slow reggae melody with a soothing bassline.

Fast forward to 2018, the fans of lovers are still here, though now gracefully older, and catching a glimpse of it where they can by dusting off old records to get that nostalgic feeling and reminisce.

StarMakers Promotions is taking this reminiscence to the next level by creating an event where you the fans can enjoy a live performance of classic “Lover’s Rock” music whilst enjoying a three course meal, and cocktails, followed by an after party at the same venue.

This event will all take place at the Proud Cabaret Embankment, which is a plush venue at Embankment, London; and the ideal place to enjoy exceptional live Lover’s Rock whilst banqueting and sipping drinks. It is also the ideal place to usher in the Christmas celebrations with your friends and colleagues.
