Wahalaa is back! We’re still glowing after the success of our sold out launch night! This time we're adding the slickest line up of selectors to lead the dance. Whether it’s Afrobeats, Soca, Dancehall, R&B, UK Afroswing, South African Gqom, or Brazilian Baile Funk - we shall be shaking body to all kinds of beautiful black music from the Continent, the Caribbean, the Americas and beyond!

Venue:
We wanted Wahalaa to be somewhere extra special this time around. We were ideally after a black-owned venue with plenty room to dance and a separate space to relax. Then we heard a friend had refurbished and reopened the legendary Passing Clouds building as The Jago in Dalston…

Wahalaa is an inclusive space celebrating black joy and freedom. The main room of the new venue is accessible on the ground floor and there are gender neutral toilets. The venue is 5 minutes walk from Dalston Junction and Haggerston 24-hour overground stations. Music starts at 10pm, but the beautiful upstairs bar will be open from 7pm if you want pre-drinks or just somewhere to relax. Tele and Tshaka will be around so come say hi!
