Love Jones Online: Black Speed Dating (Ldn)

Covid 19 has completely changed every aspect of our lives. One of the most impacted is the ability to go out, socialise, and meet potential dates. Yes, there are a ton of apps but let's be honest, searching and swiping isn't exactly fun and exciting.
Social distancing and self-isolation shouldn't mean you have to be lonely. We have been able to take our usual speed dating format and present it online to help you meet a potential love match from the comfort, convenience, and safety of your own home.

How it works
All you need to take part is a device that has a camera and a microphone (most phones, tablets, & laptops) and the zoom software installed.
As soon as the event starts, your host will explain how the night will run. You will then be paired with a member of the opposite sex and your private date will shortly start. After 4 minutes, that date will end and you will begin another date. This process repeats until you've had a date with every person in that room.
At the end of each date, the male participants will be moved to the next virtual table and the next date begins. The whole session will last approximately one hour.

First thought of back in 2010, Love Jones is a singles event aimed at the working professional, aged over 29 who is of African and/or Caribbean heritage.
█Why Love Jones?█
Despite being in one of the busiest and most diverse capital cities in the world, it can still be quite difficult to find a potential date that fits within your culture. Well, Love Jones is here to change that! We've done the hard work and gathered several single, eligible, professional men and women of Black British/African & Caribbean heritage and we've organised some games and activities that will get everyone mingling and socializing.

Love Jones has been created for you, the single professional, aged 30 and over, based in London and the surrounding areas. This means we will focus and dedicate our marketing and promotion towards a very specific demographic to ensure you get to meet the types of people you desire.

Please Note:
In the instance of an individual(s) who doesn't fit our target market/intended demographic purchasing a ticket and wanting to attend the event, they will still be permitted to attend, due to the 'Equality Act 2010'. However, any refund requests made on the basis of suitability will be refused.

There will be ice-breakers, competitions, challenges and even a little spot of speed dating/mingling to ensure everyone gets a chance to meet and speak to everyone.
