Stand up comedy in Epsom

The perfect alternative night out at the Dia y noche lounge, a popular family run cafe and bar in Epsom.

Our shows are on the first Thursday of the month, where we bring an assortment of the best comedians from a wide variety of different perspectives. It is a truly mesmerising variety show, you will never forget. Our line up for this evening is:

Luke Oliver
A quick, funny, charming and hilarious comedian who is storming gigs across London

Gatis Kandis
Standup comedian who rose to fame as a semi-finalist on the sixth series of Britain’s Got Talent. He then went on to reprise his comedy performance on the show’s tenth season. Gatis Kandis is a well known Comedian.

Neil Mcfarlane
Neil McFarlane has been performing on the Scottish comedy circuit for four years, and people are now quite regularly paying him to do so. Otherwise he refuses to vacate the stage. Lately he's also been gigging in the north of England, inspiring widespread panic.

Nicole Harris
Nicole specialises in a unique blend of improv and written material, creating a show that you won’t want to miss.  She is like the Kinder Egg of comedians.  You don’t know quite what you’ll get but it will definitely be a great surprise.

Nicole was the first woman to win Jewish Comedian of the Year in 2016 and has since gone on to be a finalist in the New Act of The Year competition in 2019 performing at the Hackney Empire.  In the same year Nicole was selected to host the prestigious AAA Stand Up Late show at the Gilded Balloon and is making a name for herself as ‘one to watch’ on the comedy circuit.

Rick Kieswetter
Rick Kieswetter’s a Japanese man, bought up in the States by a German and an Italian, and now living in England. So it’s little surprise to find that ethnicity is the root of his humour.
As you might expect, Kiesewetter has some playful fun with this diverse ethnicity; relying on the audience’s ignorance of anything from the Far East they haven’t gleaned from a Karate Kid movie. His act is a subtle, clever subversion of all those stereotypes while not losing focus on the need for jokes.
His gags and delivery are efficient and effective, too, even if they do tend towards the impersonally clinical. It’s not just his accent that makes him sound like a slick US comic.
