MAMA presents Lady Leshurr

Birmingham born Lady Leshurr, a female artist who needs no introduction... after years of influencing the International Hip Hop scene with her incredible talent, performing to thousands in sold out arenas and collaborating with/supporting some of the worlds biggest names (Including award winning dance act Basement Jaxx, chart topper singer/producer Labrinth and the Godfather of hip hop Snoop Dogg, to name a few) she is back and sounding better than ever!

Following the chart success of her previous releases (‘Mona Leshurr EP’ and ‘A Little bit of Lesh’,) Leshurr is back with her forthcoming EP ‘Queen of the Scene.’ With a loyal 100,000 plus YouTube fan base eagerly anticipating her newest release, Leshurr has chosen to team up with one of the music industry’s most accomplished songwriter/producers Anthony Marshall of Hitroom Recordings (credits include Britney Spears, J-lo, Craig David K-ci & JoJo) to create another classic UK urban record.

Sampling the hilarious Jeremy Kyle clip that went viral late last year, #Lukatar sees Lady Leshurr tell the story of her success in the music industry thus far, highlighting the positive and negative attention she has received from fans and critics alike. Since DJ Cameo pre­miered the song on his award winning show, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1xtra have had Lukatar on daily rotation, cur­rently in the top 5 of the UKG charts, it is now being championed by the likes of Mistajam, Target and drive time DJ Charlie Sloth.

As the promotional single #Lukatar exhibits a comical, fun side to the EMI published artist, Leshurr presents a very eclectic sound with this new project, whilst maintaining her strong message of cultural and personal progression.
