Description
Asingjay is a singer songwriter originally from Uganda and Rwanda in East Africa, with Luganda being her mother tongue. Her music is inspired by her culture mostly the untold stories from her 96 year old grandmother, combined with the contemporary African popular music styles and soundscapes. Marinated with a lil' touch of Western influence, brand new African flavours are formed.
She has been rehearsing with her band, perfecting her music and exploring her own sound since February 2022. Please join her at this stage of her sound journey and see her work live.
