Catch Nigerian singer/songwriter Teni at Indigo O2 this February!
This coming February, up and coming Nigerian Singer and Songwriter Teni is bringing her incredible Billionaire Experience Tour to the United Kingdom and she will be taking over the Indigo at the O2 on Saturday 22nd.
Raised in Lagos and educated in Atlanta, Teni has always had a passion for music and released her first single, Amen, back in 2016. The self-proclaimed humanist has gone from strength to strength over the last three years, signing with Magic Fingers Records before releasing her second single, Fargin, in September 2017.
Continuing to grow in global prominence, her 2018 break through singles Askamaya, Case and Uyo Meyo saw her cement herself as one of the best new talents around, with Askamaya ranked 15th on MTV Base’s 2018 top 20 Naija Tracks list.
Alongside that the natural born entertainer won multiple categories at the 2018 Headies Awards, including the ‘Rookie of the Year’ title. She was also named the ‘Most Promising Act to Watch’ at the 2018 Nigeria Entertainment Awards as well as securing the ‘Best New Artist’ award at the 2018 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival.
After all that success, 2019 proved to be her biggest year to date with the release of her maiden EP, Billionaire which featured tracks such as Sugar Mummy and Power Rangers. Coinciding with the launch, Teni was also featured on YouTube Music’s Trending Artist on the Rise Playlist.
However with nearly three million followers on Instagram and an arsenal of huge hits, 2020 looks set to be even bigger and better. Teni has set her sights on one day filling the iconic Wembley Stadium, so if you want to catch her up close in an intimate venue this could well be one of your only opportunities!
