The last few days have triggered the deep-rooted pain of the injustice and inequality felt by the black community worldwide. Our thoughts are with George Floyd’s family and the many other black lives lost due to police brutality.
As a black-owned company operating in the events industry, we see first-hand the systemic racism endured by the black community in the UK.
There needs to be real conversations on how to create meaningful and lasting change. As part of “Black Out Tuesday”, (2nd June) Shoobs will take time out to pause, reflect and discuss steps towards creating a fairer system for all.
