Born in Boston, brothers Bandile and Banele Mbere turned to South Africa to build their musical repertoire. On the scene since 2012, they’ve been rising for a decade and they’re only getting bigger!

 

Now Major League DJz are frontrunners in the global rise of amapiano – a reputation well-deserved.

 

 

Known for blurring the lines between genres, this duo combines amapiano, afrobeats, kwaito, and hip hop with party beats to create an addictive cocktail!

 

Theirs is the sound of the future, redefining the zeitgeist of modern dance music and rising to the level of cultural icons.

 

 

Collabing with big-names like Major Lazor, Black Coffee, and Diplo, Major League DJz have been bumping the best in style!

 

Their presence has elevated international functions like Coachella, Vortex, and Afro Nation, and their contributions to musical history have not gone unnoticed. This multi award winning pair boast a BET Award nomination for Best International Act, and two SAMA nominations among others!

 

 

Their celebration of African culture stops for nothing – Major League DJz made the world gasp with their Balcony Mix series in 2022, jet setting globally to bump the best.

 

This included a 75-hour duo DJ set, the first of its kind!

 

 

Starting 2024 the right way, Major League DJz are back with another unforgettable track!
