Boosting Visibility: Songkick Partnership with Shoobs

Shoobs fam… get ready for the ultimate collab!

In seeking out new ways to access global audiences, we are thrilled to enter into a partnership with Warner-music’s concert discovery app, Songkick! Boosting a multitude of fire Shoobs listings on their app, website, and eCRM, this is a win for black event culture.

Songkick’s mission is to increase accessibility into the world of music, allowing their 155 million users to discover and track artists and concerts, with ticket-purchasing capabilities.

Having recently expanded their language services into French, Spanish, German, and Portuguese, Songkick will further diversify their global range with Shoobs’ repertoire of urban motives! This collaboration will see events from the Shoobs platform listed on Songkick itself, bringing global visibility to your events.

Says Sarah Jones, General Manager at Songkick:

‘… Our mission is to demystify the complexity that exists around the live music experience… In order for Songkick to deliver on its promise, it’s vital we partner with industry trailblazers like Shoobs, who are doing an unrivalled job to market and ticket diverse cultural events to the world.’

Saying that we’re excited for the opportunities this partnership brings would be an understatement! Here at Shoobs, we hope to share our passion for great music and connect people to unforgettable experiences.

We’re all about ease of access for eventgoers and organisers alike. Promoters can now enjoy the benefits of increased discovery, as our experimentation with new innovative digital marketing tactics brings your listings to a whole new audience. We got you!

In finalising this deal, a massive acknowledgement must be made to our Chief Strategy Officer, Christine Osazuwa, who joined our team in 2022 after doing tremendous work at Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group and Pollen.

Laser-focussed on uplifting black music and culture events since 2013, this Shoobs team-up with Songkick will bring well-deserved attention to gigs like Afro Nation Portugal, Burna Boy, and Piano People in the Park.

Our own CEO and founder of Shoobs, Louise Broni-Mensah, describes this collaboration with Songkick as, ‘a significant milestone.’

She adds:

'Together, we hope to continue to innovate the way tickets are sold and marketed to ensure that every music enthusiast has access to the best events and event organisers, and promoters have the support they need to ensure successful events.’

Excited? This partnership will ensure more eyes on your events, with a predicted increase in new audience growth opportunities. Upload your listings and check out the Songkick app – they’re helping us elevate the kaleidoscope of black music and culture events!
