Carpe Diem Events presents #Telema - the newest poetry slam to touch down on the London poetry scene but with a twist…it’s themed! Held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at The Artworks, there will be a new theme related to Congo - resources, politics, culture, food, leadership - you name it, so get ready! This months theme is …’Resources’!

This month features Jonas McCloud - conscious rapper, spoken word artist, writer and producer whose material takes on the ethereal and cosmic so get ready to be taken to a new dimension and beyond!

So here’s how the slam will run….

ROUND ONE: 8 POETS w/ 5 MINUTES EACH
ROUND TWO: 5 POETS w/ 3 MINUTES EACH
ROUND THREE: 3 POETS w/ 3 MINUTES EACH

THE SLAM WILL BE JUDGED BY THE AUDIENCE ON

To sign up to the slam simply send an email to carpediemevents1@gmail.com and material for information and inspiration will be sent to you. It’s first come first serve so be quick - those who don’t get on the list will be shortlisted in case anyone drops out and be notified.
