Description

Access All Areas x Rekodi Music team up for special charity event raising funds for Sean Paul Foundation in aid of Jamaican Hurricane Appeal

ACCESS ALL AREAS is an up-close and personal music seminar, industry networking event and new artist showcase that aims to be your “Triple-A Pass To The Music Industry”. This unique music seminar is back after a one-year hiatus with a special event entitled "Rebuilding the Rhythm: Unity, Recovery & The Future of Music" with Rekodi Music at ICMP Queen's Park Campus, London NW6, on Sun, March 29th, from 3-6pm!

ACCESS ALL AREAS will be raising money for the Sean Paul Foundation in conjunction with Food For The Poor Jamaica, proceeds supporting those affected by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica last year. This special event, in conjunction with our partners at Rekodi Music, includes five top panellists and three live performances! Your Triple-A moderator, Chloe Barnard, will moderate this special event on the Jamaican music industry post-Hurricane Melissa and will speak with our experienced panel of music execs.

They will participate in a conversation on Rebuilding the Rhythm: Unity, Recovery & The Future of the Jamaican Music Industry post-Hurricane Melissa. We will be discussing restoring Local Infrastructure, Sean Paul Foundation’s work, Royalties as relief for local artists, and how UK promoters can create more "touring loops" for Jamaican artists in Europe to make up for the lost festival season at home. How many local recording studios and venues were damaged? As Jamaica enters the reconstruction phase, what does a "climate-proof" music industry look like? Music as a tool for national healing and diaspora globally, and how the UK industry can help with "gear drives" in the UK to send instruments, laptops, and audio interfaces to the worst-hit areas.

Our formidable panel of creatives and execs we have assembled covers radio, record labels, publishing, live music and DSP’s from across the music iIndustry including Joy Ellington General Manager at VP Records, DJ, producer and founder of Bruk Out, Seani B from BBC 1Xtra, DJ, producer and head of Orange Hill collective Ras Kwame from Capital XTRA, Senior Artist & Label Relations Manager at SoundCloud, Ree Sewell and Keecia Ellis the founder and CEO of Rekodi Music.

But that's not all, your guest DJ, Robbo Ranx, will host the networking sections of the event in between performances, with our AAA new artist showcase featuring exclusive live performances from three independent UK Reggae artists, including Kamar Depree, G Maffiah and Gazza Tusan.

So on Sunday March 29th, come and hear from some of the biggest names in the game at ACCESS ALL AREAS; so whether you’re an artist, producer, songwriter, DJ, musician, manager, engineer or budding music exec trying to find out more about this topic, or maybe you just want to connect with more of your industry peers this is a music seminar for the next generation of the music business. This event will guarantee to be a sell-out, so make sure you pick up your tickets on sale now and support a great cause.
