Stand up comedy at the London authentic, award-winning, modern Mediterranean restaurant. It is just a short walk from Hammersmith tube station and the Apollo, a popular destination of celebrities, frequently visited by stars, such as: Alan Sugar, Adrian Charles, Bill Baily and Olly Murs.
Comedy night starts at 7:30pm and finishes at the latest 10:15pm, this is another one of our shows for the Edinburgh previews season and features some of the finest comedy talent. This show will focus on the talents of David Tsonos, Jake Baker and Benji Waterstones.
Jake Baker and Benji Waterstones will start the show, whilst David Tsonos will bring the show to a spectacular end.
Benji is a northern trainee psychiatrist struggling to adjust to a new life in London. When he moved to the capital 2 years ago instead of sorting out his issues with tissues, he started writing jokes about them. His talent has not gone unnoticed as he has won the Beat The Frog World Series 2014, been a finalist in So You think you are funny and Leicester square New act 2014 of the year. Jake Baker started preforming comedy in the summer of 2013, in his first 18 months he reached the final rounds of several new act competitions and impressed audience up and down the country with his smart wit and laid back confident style. David has been touring Canada since 1999, from one end to the other several times, and now doing shows in the USA and the U.K. When not touring David has acted in commercials and TV shows. He also has found time to Write and Direct his own independent films.
Contrary to popular belief, he is neither Greek nor Jon Lovitz, but will gladly act like either if the price is right. He is a regular paid act for the prestigious clubs of: Soho comedy club, Mirth control and Hotwater comedy club. Furthermore, he has also been involved in TV shows:Cold Blood and Forensic Factor.
