Stand up comedy at the London authentic, award-winning, modern Mediterranean restaurant. It is just a short walk from Hammersmith tube station and the Apollo, a popular destination of celebrities, frequently visited by stars, such as: Alan Sugar, Adrian Charles, Bill Baily and Olly Murs.
Comedy night starts at 7:30pm and finishes at the latest 10:15pm. We have the delightful, fantastic and comedy juggernaut, John Hastings performing.
John Hastings has been performing stand up all over his native Canada since 2006. Since winning the 2010 Irwin Barker Canadian Homegrown Championship at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, he has been nominated for a Canadian Comedy award in the category of Best Newcomer and was named one of the five "comedians to watch" by the Canadian Comedy Network. He was the youngest featured performer at the 2011 Winnipeg Comedy Festival and was the youngest and only Canadian finalist of the 2011 San Francisco International Comedy Festival. His stand up comedy special was chosen to be the last ever, on the 15-show run of Canada’s only stand up comedy showcase program “Comedy Now.” After 6 years John also won the prestigious COCA Comedian of the year award for 2012. Now his comedic pursuits take him to the United Kingdom and he is nervously okay with being here. Here is a clip of John in action:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwY1ytKK6rU.
