With the release of his brand new compilation Album, Trevor Nelson the UK’s leading DJ in the urban scene will be hosting a UK Wide Tour bringing the album to life in a venue near you!

Coming to one of the smarted live music venues in the city! Trevor Nelson’s first stop on his UK Club Classic tour where he will be playing at Glasgow's O2 ABC 2.

The Night will be hosted, curated and of course musically tailored by Trevor himself; bringing you guys a night of Club classics, Old school, Soul & all things R&B. Let Trevor take you on a musical journey playing 80s, 90s & 00s.

THE HISTORY OF SOUL NATION

In 2013, following the huge success of Trevor Nelson's first Collections compilation album, Trevor Nelson decided he wanted to buck the trend of modern RNB nights and put on club nights for the masses of fans of classic soul and RNB, many of whom had shown their love of the classics by making the Collection series of albums one of the most successful album series of the last 10 years.

In 2014 Trevor Nelson created a new club night, alongside fellow dj Hanif, to represent his love of RNB and Soul from the 80s / 90s and 00s called Soul Nation at the old The Jazz Cafe in Camden London. After 2 years of SELL OUT parties the Soul Nation nights unfortunately had to come to an end at its spiritual home The Jazz Cafe

But the thirst for the classic old school RNB and soul party around the country was so strong that Trevor Nelson decided to put together a mini Soul Nation tour in December 2016 and take Soul Nation on the road to Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester.

After a successful mini tour last year we are now proud to announce that Trevor Nelson's Soul Nation, in association with the release of Trevor Nelson's new compilation album Club Classics, will be coming to a town / city near you.
Starting out at then pirate station Kiss FM, Trevor went on to A&R artists such as D’Angelo and in 1996 and helped pioneer the scene. He presented the first national R&B show on BBC Radio 1 and has continued to host weekday shows at BBC 1Xtra and a weekly BBC Radio 2 prime time Saturday evening show, ‘Trevor Nelson’s Rhythm Nation’, which he describes as: “The show I’ve been waiting my whole entire life to do”.
