Teddy Bears Picnic - Cholmondeley Castle 2013

On Sunday August 4th 2013 we will once again be hosting a fantastic family-friendly event – a traditional Teddy Bear’s Picnic, hosted at Cholmondeley Castle on the outskirts of Nantwich in Cheshire.

This year our nominated charity is the Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust. The event will see local families descend upon the Cholmondeley estate with their favourite furry friends in tow, ready to enjoy the Teddy-themed activities on offer in a beautiful rural setting. The Teddy Bear’s Picnic will open at 11am on 4th August 2013, running until 5pm.

Planned activities will include a Teddy Bear hunt with treasure maps and prizes included, a Punch & Judy show, story corner, arts & craft area, hook a duck, face-painting, tombola and much more!

Event tickets will include general admission to the grounds, so the whole family can also take advantage of Cholmondeley’s extensive facilities – including a children's play area, picnic site, farm animals (llamas and African pygmy goats included!) , and an aviary with many varieties of birds. The popular tea-room will sell a large variety of home-cooked treats for the whole family to enjoy!
