SPOKEN WORD at its FINEST, where the ART meets the MOVEMENT. We bring you the ancient tradition of the Griot through the artistry of the finest Spoken Word Artists, Poets. Vocalists & MC's. Complimenting the artistry, Every month - Your Host, ShakaRa Speaks & invited guest presenters, historians, social & cultural scientists, activists and experts will drop knowledge on a range of themes; historic, contemporary & futuristic.

This Months 'theme: ENTER THA CIPHER - Open Mic Special

This EXTRA SPECIAL CIPHER puts the power in the hands of YOU – the people. Staying true to our motto, “Where the ART meets the MOVEMENT”, the BLACK CIPHER has a limited number of slots available to Spoken Word Artists, Poets, MC’s & Singers, aswell as Activists, Historians & Political/Cultural Scientists who would like to perform, or present.
