Stingray Sisters is a dramatic documentary set in a remote community. For the first time, this eye-opening film will give audiences unparalleled access to life in a remote Indigenous community through the eyes of three mixed race sisters who are community leaders in their own right following in the footsteps of their Aboriginal mother. Noni, Alice and Grace are moving, as they always have, between two cultures and two homes. Their communities face constant challenges that most of us will never know. But the Eather sisters and their extended community are about to take on their biggest battle yet. They received notice of an application to explore for oil or gas throughout Arnhem Land. They know that even with everything that's come before this, the threat of mining will be one of the biggest and most relentless challenges the community will ever face.
