The 2013 Winner of Just for Laughs’ JFL42 Big Break competition (The Grid TO called “a brilliant set”), has opened for such stars as: Tracy Morgan (30 Rock), Damon Wayans (In Living Color), Cedric the Entertainer (The Original Kings Of Comedy), Mike Epps (The Hangover series), Aries Spears (MADtv), Sugar Sammy (HBO Canada), as well as for his good friend and mentor, Russell Peters.

Trixx has written and performed four sold out theatre shows including his last show, a two-hour solo show , TRIXX: Unspoken Words, was sold out Toronto’s Jane Mallett Theatre. He has also performed internationally including: Las Vegas, London, Boston, Jamaica (Jamaica’s International Comedy Festival) and New York City (New York Comedy Festival) where he opened for Russell Peters. In his hometown of Toronto, you can catch Trixx headlining regularly at such top venues as the Canadian International Comedy Fest and Yuk Yuk’s, as well as performing at Kenny Robinson’s Nubian Disciples of Pryor comedy show.

TRIXX has developed a cult following with his no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners brand of comedy. Mixing boisterous commentary on topics like pop culture, relationships, music, clubbing, and sex, with acute insights on being black in Canada, TRIXX’s streetwise, boundary-pushing humour is unafraid of taking on everyone and everything in his sights.

A talented entertainer, TRIXX got his nickname through his reputation as a prankster while growing-up in Mississauga, Ontario. He was honoured for a second time with the Comedy Award from COCA (Canadian Organization of Campus Activities). He was also a finalist in the 2009 Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh Off.

★ JAKE LAMBERT
Jake started stand-up after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad. He then decided to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone. It has proven to be a great choice with him making it to the semi-finals of the BBC New comedy Award within 6 months of his first gig, allowing him to perform on both BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 2.
His joke writing has lead him to write for such shows as 8 Out of 10 Cats, BBC'S Mock The Week, and E4's Virtually Famous.
Jake has gone on to receive a plethera of nominations including The Magners New Comedian of the Year 2015, and the prestigious Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year 2015.

He also made it to the final of the English Comedian of the Year and the Amused Moose Laugh Off Final, 2016.

★ DARRAN GRIFFITHS
Comedian, Radio Personality and Podcaster born and raised in Harlow, to Jamaican parents, he has a blend of Caribbean confidence and Essex irreverence. Not only a new voice, but an alternative voice.

A natural showman and motormouth, who comes from a creative and performing family & as a writer and performer, he is anecdotal, ironic, mordant, satirical and situational, making sharp progress in a short career, reaching competition semi-finals such as the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year and winning the 2017 Comedy X Factor and the July 2017 Comedy Store King Gong.

★ LATEEF LOVEJOY
Lateef is an an extremely gifted entertainer, who made his show business debut as a witty 12 year old on ITV’s famous morning gameshow “Mousetrap”. After that experience on the big screen he has never looked back. Not many performers can boast of having exceptional skills in all the main areas of the performing arts, lateef has these multi-faceted skills in abundance!

As an Actor he has trained at the legendary Young Actors Theatre ( formerly Anna Scher Theatre) and has had a short spell at the newly established Identity School Of Acting at London’s Arcola Theatre, playing the part of jazz singer Lenny Venice to rave reviews in their cutting edge production “Singing me to sleep”

He has appeared as the compere in the West End show Dancing In The Streets, which went on to tour the UK

His skillful blending of Stand-up and impressions has also been showcased on ITV’s Young, Gifted, and Broke, and also on national comedy search “take the mike”.

Lateef is also on TV regularly in ads for ITV Hub (Hubman), USwitch (The Coach), Kiss (Father Kissmas) & also his soon to be released sketch show 'He Said/She Said'
