SOME THINGS... is an independent, short film written and directed by Fredi 'KRUGA' Nwaka (DEAD MAN RUNNING,IF ONLY,MEN LIE WOMEN LIE, VICTIM,LETHAL,PUSHER) and produced by GRIDLOC FILMS in association with C.R.I.M.E. The project will be shot in LONDON

Synopsis:

The world can be a cruel place and inner city London is no exception. When an innocent young girl becomes caught up in a world of abuse and emotional blackmail her life quickly spirals out of control.

What happens when you feel betrayed by the very person whose supposed to protect you? What do you do? Who do you turn to?

WE ALL HAVE SECRETS!

SOME WE TAKE WITH US TO THE GRAVE and others....TAKE US TO THE GRAVE!

Inspired by true events this film is about when hope, courage, determination and faith just isn't enough.

SOME THINGS... can't be fixed!

This is not just a film... its a journey...

One that will not only touch every one who watches it but also may help save a life or two and encourage other young people to talk up.

Fredi ‘ KRUGA’ Nwaka has been involved in the entertainment industry and making short films with young people all over London for many years through his non-profit organisation C.R.I.M.E ( Creating Role Models In Media Enterprise)

Before working with young people, Fredi himself was involved in gangs which has seen him loose over 40 friends and associates to date through violent crime. He decided enough is enough and decided to set up C.R.I.M.E which helps ex offenders, young people trying to exit gangs and young people who would like to pursue a life in film/drama while steering them away from youth violence and gang culture.

Fredi has worked along side seasoned actors such as Danny Dyer, Ashley Walters,Bob Hoskins,Brenda Blethyn, Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, Chucky Venn, Tammer Hussein, Rick Myal just to name a few and has a passion for being both behind and in front of the camera.

Earlier this year , Fredi’s short film IF ONLY was premiered at London’s prestigious 195 Piccadilly (BAFTA) where it was warmly received by many from youth services as well as celebrities such as Beverly Knight, Chucky Venn, Richard Blackwood to name a few.
