Black Panther director Ryan Coogler’s debut feature film reconstructs the final 24 hours of Oscar Grant III (Michael B Jordan), a young black man who on New Years Day 2009 was gunned down by Californian police.
The film is a moving drama about the harsh reality of African American lives, brought to life in an incredibly compelling way with Michael B Jordan’s career defining performance.
Join The Film Club for a laid back screening of this modern classic alongside a pre-film DJ set.
