We are giving away 20 FREE Children Carnival Costumes!
You can drop in and register your child at Tropical Vibes Fridays, if your child would like a challenge of designing and making their very own carnival costume. Each child will be encouraged to participate in dance classes, as well as other sessions.

Tropical Mas (TM) is a carnival themed community group, which is made up people from a diverse heritage and cultural background. Tropical Mas strength is within its membership and their specialist background of being social workers, event’s organizers, teachers, students, parents, Barbers & Hairdressers, musicians, artists, DJ’s and radio presenters, creative designers, seamstresses, tailors, skilled workers, carnival masqueraders and steel pan players, all of whom are committed to promoting the advancement of the Arts, Culture and Heritage within the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the rest of the United Kingdom.
Tropical Mas have worked in partnership with several local organisations; Woolwich Carnival Association, Woolwich Community Centre, The Great Get Together, Glyndon Community Centre, The Link Thamesmead, Friends of Barnfield, DSKII Group Ltd, Elimu Mas, Elimu Academy, Metronomes Steel Orchestra and several other business and organisations.
Tropical Mas community group help to bring family and friends together as one, creating the synergy desired within any diverse community such as the Royal borough of Greenwich. We are supported by our local MP, Mayor and Councillors as well as local businesses such as Tesco and Marks & Spencer.
