Meet the Comedians
Judi Love

Judi’s has built a solid and loyal fan base through dedication, hard work and keeping it real. She regularly posts entertaining video logs on her social media the likes of which have been featured in metro.co.uk and comedy central.

Glenda Jaxson

Outrageous and side-splittingly funny, Glenda Jaxson is known as the Duchess of comedy. Endearing, but with lashings of attitude Glenda knows exactly how to command an audience and you’ll be under her matriarchal spell in no time. Glenda won the Best Female comedian award at the Black Tie Comedy Awards in 2009, a BEFFTA for Best Female Comedienne 2009, a BECA award in 2004 (presented to her by Joseph Marcell from Fresh Prince of Bel Air) and a Comedy Fun House Award in 2005.

Dana Alexander

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Dana Alexander started stand-up when she was 18, going on to establish herself as a regular at such clubs as the Yuk Yuk’s chain. Billed as the only black female comic on the Canadian comedy circuit, she voted a 'best discovery' by Now Magazine in 2006.

She moved to the UK in 2011, making her Edinburgh Fringe debut that same year. She was then nominated for best club comic in the 2012 Chortle Awards

Maureen Younger

Much-travelled Maurren Younger – who has lived in Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Russia and the Ukraine – began performing comedy sketches for a French café theatre group, Meceuil Théâtre de Paris. On her return to the UK, she turned to stand-up, making the final of the 2007 Hackney Empire New Act competition. She is also an actor.
