Funmbi’s friendly, instantly likeable style won him the award for Best Newcomer at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards. He has since gone on to win the prestigious Leicester Square New Act of the Year competition in 2012; shortly after becoming joint winner of Amused Moose’s Laugh Off Competition in the same year. Gently paced stories and anecdotes are delivered warmly and confidently.
He was a finalist in the Brighton Comedy Festival Squawker award and the Laughing Horse competition.

He has performed on The John Bishop Show, and appeared on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW! in November 2015,breaking down the day's action from I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! alongside Joe Swash.

★ ALISTAIR WILLIAMS
Having exploded on to the stand up circuit 2 years ago, multi award winning Alistair Williams has quickly made a name for himself with razor sharp content and high-watt charm. He’s already become a regular at the UK’s most famous venues including The Comedy Store and Up the Creek and is constantly building an ever-growing international presence.

Unafraid of tackling rough subject matter, Alistair is also a passionate health campaigner. Combining raw personal anecdotes with a jam packed gag count and slick extroverted style, he creates bespoke comedy content to challenge the food and health industries, regularly grabbing the attention of leading megabrands. He’s also a history graduate and constantly exploring the subject via his stand up. Both themes will feature heavily in his new 2018 Edinburgh Fringe hour.

Smart, passionate, impressively quick witted and bursting with infectious confidence, this is stand up that grabs your attention and Alistair Williams is quickly solidifying his place as one of stand up’s most exciting rising stars.

★ JASON 'EL BALDINIHO' JARED
On the comedy circuit since 2010, El Baldiniho has seen a meteoric rise to the middle end of the UK comedy scene, having performed at Camp Bestival, The Larmer Tree Festival, Wychwood Festival and at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

In big city comedy clubs (Glee,Bearcat,Frog and Bucket) he’s a great at opening or closing (the doors) & headlining comedy clubs for promoters such as Buzz and Funhouse Comedy, adding something really different to any comedy night.

The character of El Baldinihio is sensitively portrayed by comedy sketch actor Jason Jared, obviously wearing a prosthetic fat-suit and a beige swimming cap.

TV acting credits for Jason Jared include: John Bishops Britain BBC1, The Mad Bad Ad Show Channel 4, Sorry I’ve Got No Head CBBC and adverts for Cadburys, Mazda and Universal Pictures.

★ DARRAN GRIFFITHS
Comedian, Radio Personality and Podcaster born and raised in Harlow, to Jamaican parents, he has a blend of Caribbean confidence and Essex irreverence. Not only a new voice, but an alternative voice.

A natural showman and motormouth, who comes from a creative and performing family & as a writer and performer, he is anecdotal, ironic, mordant, satirical and situational, making sharp progress in a short career, reaching competition semi-finals such as the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year and winning the 2017 Comedy X Factor and the July 2017 Comedy Store King Gong.
