In March 1989 De La Soul changed the sound of Hip-Hop for ever with the release of their seminal debut album ‘3 Feet High and Rising’. We mark 30 years the one of the world’s most influential groups with this special party celebrating the De La Soul sound.
Special guest DJ Chris Read will be spinning a two hour set dedicated to these New York legends exploring not only their nine studio albums but the samples they used to build them.
He joins residents DJ Blakey, Teddy Lewis and Emma Gower across two rooms spinning everything from Disco to Dancehall through Hip-Hop and everything in between.
