DJ Jazzy Jeff takes to London’s Electric Brixton for a house party of epic proportions, with special guest Nao

Jazzy Jeff, the celebrated American DJ and hip-hop icon, brings his legendary house party to Electric Brixton this Spring, and announces a special DJ set by left-field pop princess of the moment, Nao.

Having built a reputation as one of the best parties around, Jazzy Jeff’s house party has tantalised crowds with surprise special guests and an electric atmosphere in recent years, and this promises to be one of his biggest yet…

Announced today as a very special guest DJ, acclaimed East London-raised singer-songwriter Nao will take to the stage with a highly-anticipated set, spinning the best in R&B, solidifying her place as one of the most exciting, alternative artists working today.

The ‘Make It Out Alive’ singer has been touring the planet, winning audiences over with her self-professed ‘wonky funk’ sound since her debut release in 2014.

Nao went on to perform at Glastonbury Festival, and made the long-list of BBC Sound of 2016, placing third overall. She was nominated for a Brit Award in 2017 for Best British Female Solo Artist. Nao is currently seducing fans on both sides of the Atlantic with new album ‘Saturn’, released in October 2018, continuing her reign as a musical force to be reckoned with.

Hosting this legendary party; hip-hop powerhouse Jazzy Jeff is known for his turn in seminal TV show Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but he is also a musical pioneer who has won three Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards, two NAACP Awards, two Soul Train Music Awards and an MTV Music Award throughout his illustrious career.

As an influential DJ, Jazzy Jeff has to be one of the most accomplished in the world, with turntable skills honed over decades. He continues to represent with his solo projects, collaborations, mixtapes and live shows - including the huge popular and successful house party series.
