The Heatwave presents: Showtime - 4 Decades Of UK Dancehall
Join us for a journey of UK dancehall over four Friday nights, bringing together artists and DJs from the past, present and future.
The Heatwave play legendary riddims from the 80s, 90s, 2000s and 2010s while three key artists from each decade spit their classic bars and pass the mic - soundsystem style. You will also hear all the hits from Jamaica that were carrying the swing or running road each decade.
Line Up is - The Heatwave, Lisa Mercedez, Mr Williamz, IQ, K More, Sir DJ Corey, Pretty Shades + Steppa N Marlon.
So come and celebrate of the incredible impact and influence that the children and grandchildren of the Windrush generation have had on British culture and music with The Heatwave this June. Let me know when these are all ready to go!
