We're well into World Cup spirit and we'll be celebrating "This Time for Africa" at BANTU Fridays on 2 July 2010. Tickets for BANTU Fridays are now only £6 in advance and £10 on the door before midnight so there’s really no excuse for not getting your groove on!
We’ll be taking you way back with the best selection of oldies from the African continent (think Pata Pata – Miriam Makeba, Umqombothi/African Beer – Yvonne Chaka Chaka) and making you hit that dance floor with the best of the new. As always we’ll have time for the the latest Funky House, Hip Hop and R’n’B and the night wouldn’t be complete without a healthy dose of Old Skool.
It isn’t just about the music – we want to see you dress loud and proud! Wear your colours, wear their colours, wear our colours! We’re talking Rainbow CONTINENT! From face paints to flags, traditional to tribal – bring it on!!
Win: Definition Africa and I LOVE UG T-shirts up for grabs. The newest and hottest Afro t-shirts literally hot off the press.
Drink: Arrive early for your complimentary Amarula or Tequila shot (while stocks last).
Giveaways: Get your 'Party for Africa' Cd brought to you by BANTU! The hottest selection of the old and new from the African continent.
