Ogechi Cyril Nwanevu ( born 15, February 1987 in Lagos State) better known for his stage name Pencil, which was a nickname back in secondary school because of his slim stature and his love for fitted clothes.Pencil is renowned Nigeria comedian and actor , and he organizes his own comedy concert titled 'PENCIL UNBROKEN'

Pencil came into limelight after winning the prestigious Ay open mic hosted by the ace comedian Ayo Makun (AY) in 2010, his rise in the Nigeria comedy industry has been as a result of hard work and dogged determination, growing up in the busy streets of Ajegunle prepared him for the entertainment industry, because most of his jokes are drawn from real life situations.
The graduate of Economics from Abia State University is a house hold name with huge fan base in Nigeria and the world as a whole,he has successfully hosted several editions of his show 'Pencil Unbroken' which is acclaimed to be one of the most successful and well packaged show comedy show in Nigeria.

He has succeeded in exporting his craft beyond the shores of Nigeria, he has performed in the United kingdom,Russia, Ukraine to mention but a few.
