Lovebox 2020 - Friday

Lovebox will return to London’s Gunnersbury Park next June as a newly-expanded three day festival, with an incredible raft of genre-spanning first acts also announced. Headlining the Main Stage on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively will be: will be: Khalid, Disclosure and Tyler, The Creator.

Further artists performing across the weekend include Jorja Smith, Hot Chip, Little Simz and Mabel, who join Khalid on the Friday billing, while Peggy Gou and Anderson .Paak are set to perform on Saturday ahead of Disclosure. And in celebration of Lovebox becoming a three-day festival for 2020, Charli XCX and FKA Twigs, along with headliner Tyler, The Creator, will close proceedings on Sunday. R&B singer and songwriter Khalid will be the first headliner of Lovebox 2020, performing on the Main Stage on Friday. The Texan artist shot to worldwide prominence after posting his music on SoundCloud, and has since been nominated for six Grammy Awards following the release of his acclaimed number one debut album American Teen - and became the biggest global artist on Spotify, hitting over 50 million monthly listeners.

He will be joined on Friday at Lovebox by Little Simz, the UK singer and rapper whose recently-released album Grey Area has seen her receive the nomination for the Mercury Music Prize. Mabel will also perform on Friday, bringing tracks such as her breakthrough smash Don’t Call Me Up and more from her hit album High Expectations, released earlier this year. Also performing on Friday will be none other than BRIT Award-winning Jorja Smith (London exclusive), who will be showcasing new music as well as material from her highly-acclaimed debut album Loft & Found. London-based Hot Chip’s influence and prestige is renowned, and their unifying live show will be a triumphant highlight of Friday’s main stage programming at Lovebox 2020.

About Lovebox Festival: Lovebox Festival is a 3-day music event which takes place in June at London’s Gunnersbury Park.
