Africa Fashion Collective - London Fashion Week

Africa has come of age and fashion has become an integral part of this great continent, however, most fashion events were limited to exhibitions of apparel and predominantly in Johannesburg, South Africa.With the whole world making so much money from clothing and the fact that South Africa being our only outlet to fashion week in Africa is not enough to tap the opportunities available in the fashion market. That is our main reason for organizing Africa Fashion Collective (AFW) to join the league in the bid to project the West African Craft in the art of Fashion Designing.There is no doubt that fashion contributes immensely to every economy of the world. The fashion industry contributes 25% to the US economy. In the UK, fashion contributes almost £21bn to the British economy. In Africa, there is almost no record of the contribution of the fashion industry although fashion has come to stay as a money spinner in most countries of Africa.
AFRICA FASHION COLLECTIVE is set to launch at LONDON FASHION WEEK 2022.
