The Resurrection: Soul Sanctuary

The Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir is proud to announce the premiere of “The Resurrection”, a two-act setting of the last chapters of the gospels of John and Luke for choir, band and soloists, grounded in some sixteen well-known gospel “anthems”.

Our soloists include some of the best voices in British gospel music today: Tracey Campbell, Yolanda Antonio, Kathy Wilkinson McLeish, Sophie Harriot, Hermione Fawcett Thomas, Richard Butt and Lawrence Rowe. Between them these singers have a list of credits and plaudits too long to quote.

The Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir was founded in 2005 with Tracey as Choir Director as a church choir: to lift soul and spirit by using the very best of contemporary gospel, jazz, soul, Latin and modern classical, making no compromises on quality in composition, arrangement, performance and production. The choir works regularly at Farm Street Church, Mayfair, and St James’s Piccadilly. They also perform at the 606 Jazz Club in Chelsea, and have shared a concert platform with Eric Clapton Roger Taylor & Jeff Beck.
