Lela’s Lounge organises regular social events in the city that are designed to meet the needs of the African-Caribbean and Mixed-Heritage singles.

This is your chance to meet new people equipped with the perfect icebreakers to see if you fit together like the symbolic lock and key. There could be someone there for you however you have to be there and take that chance to find out. Whatever happens you will have a great night out meeting and mingling with like minded people and beautiful personalities.

Lock and Key Party A sure fire ice breaker! Women are given locks and men are given keys. You then circulate looking for someone who fits your lock or key. The aim of this is to get you speaking to as many people as possible.

Masquerade Treasure Hunt Guests search the party for items like sparkly beads, costume jewellery, or even small gifts, decorative masquerade masks or even a bottle of fine wine

Music and Entertainment
We will be playing all your favourite chart toppers till late.

Policy
Purchasing a ticket means that you have committed to attending the event and will be punctual. Cancellations or requests for refunds must be brought to our attention no less than a week before the event. While we do everything possible to create balance, we can not ensure an equal ratio of men and women at the event. No refunds will be given within 7 days of the event, NO EXCEPTIONS! We equally will not tolerate aggressive, rude or abusive costumers as it is not acceptable behaviour. Please remember the whole point of the event is to meet likeminded people. We cannot control the actions of those who attend, but we can do everything within our control to ensure the event is run smoothly.
