London theatre fans, get ready in time for Valentine. The big bad play from Jamaica Man Fi Get Bun. Telling the story of one of those nowadays pastors, who we would refer to as a Sunday Ginal, just in the church to make money. Starring Charles Tomlin and Maxwell ‘Bashy’ Grant with co-stars Juliet Shanks, Suezette Barrett Ennis and Lacell Parnell.
Pastor Festus Longpoint played by Maxwell “Bashment” Grant is a womanizer and gambles a lot. He believes that he should have an affair with every woman in his Church and with every helper that works for him, while his wife gets little attention. The wife Miss Clemmy, played by Juliet Shank, starts to complain about being alone and having to do all the housework. Despite this, his wife still believes in him.
Things take a dramatic turn when the pastor decides to hire a yard boy to help his wife, who turns out to be just as much of a womanizer as he is.
Written and directed by one of Jamaica most prolific roots playwrights Everton Dawkins, famous for works such as Passa Passa.
