Mbote! Tendai Mwari! Akwaaba! Jambo!

Greetings Brothas and Sistas.the time has finally arrived. If you missed part 1 of this great event then you definitely don't want to miss out on part 2 especially as it's our last event of the year so let's make it count!

Let's get together to celebrate what has been an amazing year of artists, performers, singers, activists, event organisers, community leaders, campaigners and more joining as one for an awesome cause: Congo and ethical technology. I have learnt so much about this and I hope you all have as well; let's use the principles of Kwanzaa to drive us forward in Solidarity and Unity in the best way we know.performance and creativity!

Artist....

Nebula Nebula
Powerful. Creative. Vivacious. The saying 'a picture paints a thousand words' does no justice when it comes to the striking images that come to life with every uttered syllable. This multi-talented art is the driving force and spirit behind the art; join in to see what stroke of genius she will create...

Performers....

Aunty & Elder Dimela
Storyteller, author, legendary poet and spoken word artist who set the foundations and paved the way for many performers now! Make sure you're here to hear her many words of wisdom and guidance as she tells HERstory with cleverly put together prose that reconnects you to the very essence of SELF!

Jonas McCloud
Behold the return of the Rapper and Spoken Word artist who takes you to outer space and aligns you with your stars! This is rap like you've never experienced it before, don't say I didn't warn ya!

Golden Blue
Make way make way I say for this incredible singer, songwriter, poet and performer who will take you on a melodic and soul searching journey. This is blues like never before - smooth with an edge of raw soul and undertones of jazz; you can't just dip your toe in...you'll be immersed in a sea of pure vibrations so hold on!

Presentation from....

Isis Amlak - UN Decade for People of African Descent
The UN decade of what...? Never heard of it? Don't worry, neither have I until now! The community leader, poet and social activist is back to deliver another empowering and informative presentation on what what this decade is, who it's for and how to get the most out of it.....and of course a dose of poetry to finish it off!

Music from....

Sid Mercutio
If you haven't sipped a cocktail or two or shaken a tail feather to this DJ then it's time to crawl out from under your rock fam! With a great mix of Soul, hip-hop, neo-soul and a dash of some hot Afro-beats here and there it's easy to hear why he is on the rise as one of London's top entertainers. Arrive early to hear the musical magic and experience the start of a great evening.

This event promises to be (yet again) one of London's top poetry and live art events to see this year out. Join in and arrive ON TIME for food and to sign up to the open mic. 10% of the door money goes to Panzi Hospital in Eastern Congo.

TICKETS ARE £5 ON THE DOOR - THIS IS JUST TO REGISTER
