A roots reggae band from Bristol, Black Roots’ story began in 1979, giving an uncompromising voice to the people that spoke out against the injustices and alienation caused by the pace of political reform introduced in Thatcherite Britain.
Having taken an extended hiatus during the 90s and 00’s, the band have since come back with a vengeance over the last five years, and they make their long awaited return to London for a very rare and intimate show at the Jazz Cafe in the spring.
