Description

Having gone through the milestone of celebrating their 30th anniversary, the choir have been more active than ever. From humble beginnings in 1982 they have gone on to become Europe’s leading Gospel choir and one of the most in demand choirs in Europe. Creating a wall of soulful sound that is both memorable and inspirational.

The choir regularly grace many of the UK’s greatest stages such as Wembley Stadium (FA Cup Final), the Royal Albert Hall and are regulars at Glastonbury Festival. ‘The nation’s favourite choir’ are the first point of call for a variety of major recording artists including Madonna, Kylie, Sting, Paul McCartney, Brian May, Luther Vandross, Tina Turner and George Michael.

World record attempts, film premieres and theatre collaborations illustrate the choir’s intention to break boundaries and display true versatility. An eclectic mix of races, ages and backgrounds make the choir a truly special blend of talent, voices and personalities. Recent collaborations include Damon Albarn, National Theatre, Sam Smith and Madonna at the Brit Awards and Grammy Awards and now the X Factor! They gave a critically acclaimed performance at the British premiere of the Martin Luther King biopic ‘Selma’. Choir leader Bazil Meade’s vision of fusing together his two passions, his music and faith, have served thousands of fans well so far. The future looks bright.
