With a distinctive style inspired by British fashion and modern culture, South East London born Joel Culpepper has been described as ‘the UK’s answer to Andre 3000 and Frank Ocean’.
Releasing his first EP back in 2012, Culpepper’s path has been a long one, but one that is bearing fruit now thanks in no small part to that Colors Berlin performance.
Heralded as having the best British male voice since Omar, Joel worked with the likes of Roy Davis Jr and Swindle on his most recent EP Tortoise, and has been in the studio with Henry Wu working on his debut album.
After selling out Birthdays he heads to our stage for his biggest headline show to date.
