Description

Never tried Speed Dating? You’ve been missing out. It’s the perfect way to meet some fantastic single people your age. You’ll have up to 10 mini (5 minute) dates in one evening, tick who you like and fingers crossed you’ll get the person’s details. Simple.

There’s no obligation to give out your details, no need to find courage to strike a conversation with someone. This is all taken care of and you’re free to enjoy your evening.

What Happens on The Night?

• As you arrive you’ll get given a badge containing your name and a number

• You’ll also get given a date sheet, which is how you’ll let us know who you hit it off with

• Once everyone has arrived you’ll be asked to sit at the table with your number on it

• For the ladies, this is the table you’ll stay at for the evening

• The host will ring a bell every five minutes to indicate that the date is over. This is when the gents will move up to the next table to start the next date

• Before moving on to the next date, you’ll make a note of the person you’ve just seen (on the date sheet) and whether or not you hit it off with them

• This continues until you’ve been on a date with every member of the opposite gender

What Happens After The Event?

Once the event is over the host will collect all of the date sheets and answer any questions. At this point the event is over and you’re free to leave or stick around to continue chatting. The host will then take the clipboards away and tally up the results.

You’ll receive an email the following morning containing the results. We usually aim to get the emails sent by 3pm at the latest, but on rare occasions it might take longer. If you’ve been matched with anyone you’ll get their details in the email (you choose which details you want passed on when you arrive at the event). It’s then up to you to contact any matches and arrange a proper date.
