Description

"A true ‘genre-defying’ artist – Jerome Thomas is best known for his distinct and soothing sound, which samples various genres of music from Soul, Jazz to Jungle, RnB and Hip Hop. “FOE is a lifestyle- it’s a mind state with no boxes or boundaries. It’s freedom of expression – freedom to be truly you, and express yourself in anyway you feel to.” The East Londoner lives by the mantra, ‘FOE’ (‘freedom of expression- fusion of everything’), which is deep-rooted in his artistry. Over the last 2 years Jerome has garnered strong support from stations including Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Reprezent, Radar, and Rinse FM; and key tastemakers such as Lost Culture, MTV, Singers Room, Skullcandy & MTV. At such an early stage in the vocal powerhouse’s journey, his musical status has blossomed extraordinarily by headlining sold out shows at the Queen of Hoxton, Bush Hall, and Notting Hill Arts Club. Black the Ripper, Clement Marfo, Che Lingo, Davinche, Etched, Jubei, Technimatic, & Warren Xclnce are amongst the musical pioneers that Jerome has collaborated with. His eagerly awaited debut EP ‘Conversations’ was released to the world in November 2016; oozing honesty, free-spiritedness, playful yet intellectual wordplay, multi-dimensional rhyme delivery, and sensational vocals. Thus, cementing the Dalston Native in his very own lane as one of the most dynamic and authentic voices to have emerged from the Capital.
