The Ends Festival 2019 with Nas

Experience extraordinary new field day where music and food will weave together into an exhilarating weekend in the heart of Croydon, one of Britain’s exciting and vibrant boroughs in partnership with Croydon Council. The Ends Festival will be the spotlight of the summer calendar in 2019, taking place in Lloyd Park in South London, Croydon from the 31 May 2019 – 02 June 2019.

The festival kicks off on Friday 31 May with legendary headliner Hip Hop mogul Nas.

Nas has clocked over 30 million records worldwide with a career spanning over 20 years which includes hits ‘One Mic’, ‘N.Y. State of Mind’ and ‘If I Ruled the World.'

Joining Nas will be De La Soul, Ghetts, and Nadia Rose.

Rap royalty and legends, De La Soul mark their 30th anniversary of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘3 Feet High and Rising’ and their return to Croydon for the first time since 2006.

The grime legend, U.K. rapper Ghetts, known for his incredible wordplay and unmatched energy will bring his critically acclaimed discography to Croydon as he continues his voyage of shining a light on the grime genre.

Nadia Rose, the Croydon MC first exploded onto the scene with her MOBO-winning grime-centric cut, ‘Skwod’ and later on went on to win the prestigious BBC Sound of 2017 award. A well decorated female MC who has headlined the Park Stage at Glastonbury festival, a feat that not many 25-year old MCs from Croydon can say they conquered. She’s bringing it home!

British-born Ghanaian Kojey Radical will bring an explosive show that will immerse you into a dynamic blend of everything from smooth rap to gruff soul to propulsive rock to searing grime, all interjected with pensive moments of spoken word from the poet-turned-musical artist. A2 and Rachael Anson also join Nas, rap royalty De La Soul, grime legend Ghetts and Croydon MC Nadia Rose for Friday’s line-up.

A first for Croydon, The Ends Festival will see 15,000 music lovers each day flock to Lloyd Park with the festival aiming to engage and inspire local, national, and international communities of composers, performers, creators, and concert-goers through world-class performances.
