Tarantino: An Orchestral Rendition of the Soundtracks - Re:imagine once again pushes the boundaries as we delve into the dark and twisted depths of the mind of one of the worlds greatest film Directors: Quentin Tarantino. Expect jaw dropping visuals and pop up performances whilst the Rogue Symphony Orchestra take us on a journey through Tarantino’s back catalogue.
One of Tarantino’s hallmarks as a director is that his soundtracks are incredible. It’s not just that he picks great music; his films are excellently soundtracked with intricate controversial story telling devices. Through the use of jarring juxtaposition of hugely celebrated classics and the haunting symmetry of character motifs, many of the most memorable of Tarantino’s scenes are so, partly through the music they involve. From the Twist Competition in Pulp fiction, to That torture scene in Reservoir Dogs, we will explore and celebrate the most notorious scenes of some of the greatest movies of our time.
Music performed by Rogue Symphony. This is a standing event & we will be showing curated visuals, not the films
