And What? LDN & I Am Hip-Hop Magazine Present at Grow, Hackney Wick in London

Event description

And What? LDN & I Am Hip-Hop Magazine team up to present the ultimate musician's challenge 🔊

The 360° Artistry Competition is designed to push artists to their creative capacity. They have 6 minutes to show us what they can do, the only constraint being time.

This event will be hosted by Leen Nlt, Absent Minded Poetics, Calaida & the And What MCs.

The Rules:

✦ Contestants have 6 minutes to display their artistry.

✦ Instruments & equipment are allowed.

✦ Collaborators are allowed to accompany the artist.

The Contenders:

★ ShaoDow
Dubbest as ‘one of the hardest working rappers’ in the industry by BBC 1Xtra's DJ Semtex, Shao is a force to be reckoned with. He has opened for legends like Stormzy, Skepta, Tech N9ne, Wiley and Akala, appeared at Reading and Leeds festivals and performed across Europe, South America and Asia.

★ IsaacB
From Miami by way of Brixton, the MC and producer is the host for And What LDN events. He is also a member of The Rattle collective and plays out regularly with trombone player NBOC. He has performed for the V&A Museum, Breakin Conventions Park Jam, Hootananny & more.

★ Call.Me.Tiece
With her smoky, seductive voice; chilled neo-soul vibes and slow trip-hop grooves, Tiece is guaranteed to grab your attention.

★ Kyz

We will be hosting the challenge in Grow, Hackney's stunning Greenhouse area. There will be a full bar with soft, alcoholic and hot drinks + Middle Eastern inspired food on offer.
