Singles Party
The news of what's happening in Ukraine has hit us all hard and as many of you may not know, a large portion of our team are based in Ukraine. They are currently living through this war and fighting for their country. They are an important part of the SpeedDater family and are the reason we’ve be able to do what we do.

This is why April’s Lock & Key party will be bigger and better than ever before. With all the same features of our usual events, this event will also offer guests opportunities to buy raffle tickets, sunflower badges (National Flower of Ukraine), bake sales and so much more. All the proceeds will be donated to Sunflower of Peace & Voices of Children alongside all tickets purchased. These are two charities helping the Ukraine crisis.

Sunflower of Peace helps paramedics and doctors, while also fundraising for supplies, which includes first aid medical tactical backpacks.

Voices of Children are there for the children who are effected by the war. Providing support through art therapy, psychologists, video storytelling and a number of other methods.

Lock and Key Party
The evening will begin with our entertaining ice-breaking game to help introduce you to as many singles as possible. We’ve organised a lock and key ice-breaker, the perfect way to spark up that initial conversation. All women will be given locks, while the men will be given keys. Your job is to find the one that matches with you. If you find your match, you're in for a chance of winning some incredible prizes. You can match with more than one guest, so make sure you meet as many people as you can.

Optional Speed Dating
This event will be for all ages. However, the speed dating sessions will be broken up in to different age groups. The sessions will take place in a separate room. You’ll be able to sign up at the event when registering.The speed dating sessions are a perfect way to get to know the other guests in three-minute intimate bursts. The 30-minute speed dating sessions are designed only as a 'taster' at the party. Remember, our speed dating sessions are always popular, so we would advise you to arrive by 7:15 pm to guarantee yourself a place. The sessions are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Fortune Teller
Madame Zahra will be there to offer all our guests a chance to have their future told. Madame Zahra is of Romani Gypsy descent and hasover 22 years’ experience behind her.

She specialises in Clairsentient Mediumship, Tarot (including Angel Tarot Cards), Oracle, Palmistry, Scrying (Crystal Ball), Psychometry, Spiritual Healing and Holistic/Psychic Life Coaching. She has also recently expanded into dry tea leaf reading. With years of experience as well as French and Spanish Romani Gypsy ancestry, her readings are always insightful.
