The Doctor’s Orders & The Jazz Café presents

BLU & EXILE

+ Spin Doctor

7pm Monday 11th September

The Jazz Café, Parkway, Camden, London NW1 7PG

Blu & Exile are one of the most formidable forces on California’s underground Hip-Hop scene. A prefect MC & Producer combo in the mould of Guru and DJ Premier their sounds fit like a glove and are greater then the sum of their already considerable parts.

Their 2007 debut ‘Below The Heavens’ was an instant classic that saw comparisons drawn to the likes of The Pharcyde & Jurassic 5. Having worked with the likes of Slum Village and been introduced through Aloe Blacc it is little surprise their standing as a favourite amongst fans of soulful Hip-Hop is unparalleled.

With nearly 30 albums and mixtapes under his belt Blu is as prolific as he is staunchly independent. Highlight of this incredible workload are those albums alongside beat-smith Exile including “Below The Heavens” “Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them” and “Miles: From an Interlude Called Life”.

Having sold out every one of their previous shows The Doctor’s Orders are proud to present their first UK show in nearly 5 years!
